Best of 2021: Film
Well it was another weird year, but 2021 still managed to give us some great new films. Despite many theaters being shuttered for more than half a year, unconventional release methods still allowed for some bold-faced films to generate buzz, and smaller indie films were allowed more room to breathe since blockbusters had to be pushed back. And by the end of the year, we even had some bona fide box office smashes in the books. So with all that said, the Great Pop Culture Debate wants to look back and share our thoughts on what we think are the Best Films of 2021! Films discussed include Dune, In the Heights, The French Dispatch, Luca, Tick…Tick…BOOM!, The Power of the Dog, and more!
