New This Week: Daredevil: Born Again swings into Disney+; Lady Gaga unleashes Mayhem; FragPunk sets home consoles in its sights.

TELEVISION

Tuesday 3/4: Daredevil: Born Again (Disney+; Super Hero, Action)

This reboot brings back the core cast from Netflix’s excellent Daredevil series — Charlie Cox as the titular character, Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin — but now officially set in the MCU. Also look for appearances by Jon Berenthal’s Punisher and other familiar faces.


Tuesday 3/4: With Love, Meghan (Netflix; Reality, Lifestyle)

Meghan Markle, former American actress turned polarizing British royal, hosts this lifestyle show in which she invites famous friends like Mindy Kaling to connect over good food, gardening, and more.

Wednesday 3/5: The Amazing Race (CBS 9:30pm; Reality Competition)

The long-running, globe-spanning racing competition returns for Season 37, with its largest-ever cast. Among the 14 teams sprinting around the globe for the $1 million prize are father-and-son lumberjacks, a pair of podcasting brothers, and the former Chicago police chief and his daughter.

Sunday 3/9: The Righteous Gemstones (HBO 10pm; Comedy)

The fourth and final season of Danny McBride’s send-up of corrupt mega preachers arrives. Starring McBride, John Goodman, and Adam DeVine.

Sunday 3/9: American Idol (ABC 8pm; Reality Competition, Music)

Season 23 of the one-time reality-TV (and music industry) juggernaut premieres, with Carrie Underwood replacing Katy Perry on the judging panel, and pissing off half of America with her recent…activities.

Parasite director Bong Joo Ho directs Robert Pattinson as a man owned by a corporation, who is continually cloned and then killed as part of his job. With Toni Collette, Steven Yeun, and Mark Ruffalo.

Friday 3/7: Night of the Zoopocalypse (Wide; Animated, Comedy)

Inspired by Clive Barker (Hellraiser) and featuring voice work by David Harbour (Stranger Things), this movie follows escaped zoo animals trying to survive fellow animals mutated by a deadly virus.

Friday 3/7: Plankton: The Movie (Netflix; Family, Animated)

A new addition to the Spongebob Cinematic Universe (I’m not even kidding), this one focuses on side character Plankton and his sentient computer wife, who malfunctions and decides to destroy the world.

Friday 3/7: Hellboy: The Crooked Man (Hulu; Super Hero, Fantasy)

After a quiet theatrical and VOD release last fall, this low-budget indie reboot of the Dark Horse Comics supernatural super-hero franchise comes to streaming.

Friday 3/7: Chaos: The Manson Murders (Netflix; Documentary, True Crime)

Famed documentarian Errol Morris points his lens at the 1969 killing spree of Charles Manson and his followers, peeling back the motives behind the crime spree that still captivates attention 55 years later.

Monday 3/4: Two Point Museum (PC, PS5, Xbox S|X; Business Simulator)

In this tycoon-style game, you build museums geared at delighting tourists, designing exhibits, monitoring security, and even outfitting gift shops.

Thursday 3/6: Split Fiction (PC, PS5, Xbox S|X; Adventure, Co-Op)

From the studio behind It Takes Two, this cooperative game allows you to play with a friend locally or online as you coordinate actions and timing to advance in a fantasy world.

Thursday 3/6: Dragonkin: The Banished (PC; Action, Fantasy)

Similar to Diablo, but based around dragons instead of demons, in this game you pick one of three warrior classes and then build up your battlecraft in an expansive world.

Thursday 3/6: FragPunk (PC, PS5, Xbox S|X; Shooter)

This new 5v5 hero shooter features dynamic, shifting rules that can turn a battle on its head in moments.


Thursday 3/6: Suikoden I & II HD Remaster (PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox S|X; RPG, Remake)

A suped-up version of the Konami JRPG from the 1990s, with quality-of-life improvements like autobattle.
