10. Casey’s Corner Foot Long Hot Dog
First up to bat, a quick stop on Main Street at Casey’s Corner to pick up a foot long. A more popular go-to for lunch than a snack, this delicious and immense dog will fill you up and make you eat as discreetly as possible! *giggle*
Honorable Mention: Get some Casey’s Corn Dog Nuggets too!
9.Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich
Simple, easy and refreshing on a hot day in the park. This classic ice cream sandwich is the sister snack to a more popular pick later on our list, but that doesn’t make it less delicious. This one can sometimes be difficult and messy to eat as they could be frozen rock hard for the first few minutes, then a drippy mess the next. However, like Marie Kondo, kids love mess.
8. Mickey Pretzel
Take an ordinary soft pretzel and make it into a Mickey head, they said! They’ll sell like hot cakes, they said. Well, they did and they did. Not much more to say, it’s a soft pretzel!
7. Turkey Leg
Despite the high calorie count and sodium content of the Disney Turkey Leg, we think the taste and novelty of this indulgent treat keeps it in vogue. Additionally, it has become popular to post images of your turkey leg on social media, which may keep it atop the list for many.
6. Ronto Wrap
A fairly new list entry for this popular Galaxy’s Edge delicacy! These are a personal go-to. A gyro-style handheld made with pork sausage and sliced pork in a soft pita and topped with tangy slaw. When you’re off planet on Batuu, this savory snack is a must with both breakfast and lunchtime varieties.
5. Cheshire Cat Tail
You can’t deny the simplicity of branding with this one! A long flaky pastry topped with Cheshire Cat colored icing. Another Instagrammable favorite, these became so popular they couldn't keep up with demand and had to introduce the less popular Cheshire Cat Paw. We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.
4. Popcorn
Let’s face it, it’s the collectable popcorn buckets that keep this staple snack popular and high on our list! Regardless, this age-old food has taken on new life with its variety of flavors in parks across the world including; Maple, Blueberry Almond, Sour Cream & Chive, Buffalo Bleu Cheese, Garlic Shrimp, Cookies & Cream and many more!
3. Mickey Ice Cream Bar
Iconic! That’s the word to describe this frozen treat. The Mickey Ice Cream Bar has been around for decades and never fails to please. It is just one of those things I need to have when in the parks or it’s not a Disney trip. It’s compulsory. This is likely one of the first items to pop in your head when you think of a Disney snack. They even have a stuffed dog toy version.
2. Dole Whip
The Dole Whip is a fabulous Disney “exclusive” treat, if you are willing to stand in a line for one. The increase in popularity of this snack and its Orange Bird mascot in recent years can’t be denied. Personally, I think they are delicious but a little overrated, especially for the wait and limited availability, which keep it from our top spot. I like to head over to the Pineapple Lenai at the Polynesian Resort for my fix AFTER a park day.
1. Churro
Who would have guessed this deep fried choux pastry would be at the top of our list? Who even thought this would be a snack you would find at Disney Parks? Well, you can’t ignore the increased popularity and novelty of the Disney Churro. They are quick, delicious and easy to find, which makes it a fast way to get something in your belly when you need a quick pick me up. Like the popcorn, churros have branched out into a variety of flavors, not to mention the scrumptious dipping sauces. Additionally, the cleverly themed Churros add to the fun! Just try to avoid battle with your lightsaber themed Churro!
